"Homestead, Florida, the home of the Nation's First Bikeway will be the site of the Third Annual Biscayne/Everglades Greenway Bike Festival, a unique two day event that celebrates the recent opening of the Biscayne/Everglades Greenway Bike Trail. Saturday is supported rides, Sunday is a non supported tour of Greenway. Fee applies to Saturday event only."

Saturday, April 2nd : Downtown Homestead (41 N. Krome Avenue), Two supported rides with cue sheets and maps provided. Departing at 7:00 a.m. from 41 N. Krome Avenue, in the Historic District of Homestead, 42 miles and 62 miles routes designed with exciting new rest stops. luncheon served at end of ride and included in event price. Fee: $40.00

Sunday, April 3rd : Biscayne National Park (Biscayne NP Visitor's Ctr), Non supported ride on Greenway Trail, FAT TIRE BIKES ONLY strongly recommended. Departing from Biscayne National Park at 9:00 a.m. Ride will have an escort. FREE
