"Join Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez and the Mayors of Key Biscayne, City of Miami, Coral Gables, Pinecrest Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay on March 22 at the Metrorail University Station, 5400 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables across from Bank United Center, University of Miami. They are encouraging residents to give up their car commute and pedal their bicycle to work, at least for this one day.
The Mayors will demonstrate how a combination of bicycling on the M-Path adjacent to Metrorail, and, taking bicycles on Metrorail can cut down on street traffic congestion, save money, and provide a healthy transportation alternative in the County."

ReplyDeleteI love hearing about stuff like this..I work at FIU's Modesto Campus, and I take my bike on the bus rack occasionally..as soon as I get used to my new bike, my last one was stolen recently, I'll pick it back up again..very soon..I love riding bicycles.
