"Friends of the Ludlam Trail will host a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, November 12 at South Miami Senior High School, in order to provide the community a platform to voice their views about the current FECI proposal. The Friends of the Ludlam Trail will provide their vision for the park and trail, and FECI will have an opportunity to answer questions directly from the audience and provide an update regarding the latest changes to their application.
Miami-Dade County is being asked to change the land use designation of the Ludlam Trail to allow up to 2,600 apartments, single family homes and commercial units and a bike trail. Friends of the Ludlam Trail opposes the current proposal, but believes there is a way to balance FECI’s interests with a world class trail and park. Join us at the Town Hall meeting if you believe there is a way to balance private interests with public good!
