Check out this great POV footage from the 4th annual 4G: Great Gator Gravel Grinder which took place on March 19th, 2017. The 4G is a grueling gravel ride which traverses through farmlands, along canals, and the Southern Glades. The charity ride benefits Radio Lollipop at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
The video highlights the top riders going through the 62 mile course. It was entertaining watching the video and reliving some of the worst parts. The videographer falls in the mud at 3:37 mark, I took the same ill-fated line and fortunately did not crash, however I did slightly lose control and got unnecessarily muddy. Another great moment captured is the rider going through the really deep puddle at 28:51 mark. The rider wisely took the left line towards the fence, those who took the right side or middle eventually had to dismount due to how the deep the puddle got. Shout out to Gary Mendenhall for organizing this great event and all the volunteers and sponsors. Join the 4G group on Facebook to find out about upcoming gravel rides in the area.
