The Town and its Youth Activities Task Force (YATF) will hold the 19th Annual Bike Rodeo & Safety Day event on Saturday, March 18th at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 NW 82nd Avenue.

The Bike Rodeo & Safety Day event is one of the Committee’s longest running events and is also considered one of the Town’s special “Play Days in Miami Lakes” under the prestigious “Playful City USA” designation.

The event, sponsored is part by Andy's Police Supply and the Town of Miami Lakes Police Department, will provide children with the opportunity to learn about bicycle safety while interacting with various branches of law enforcement officers. The first 200 attendees will also receive a free helmet and a chance to win toys, prizes and one of 15 bikes in our raffle!

This year’s event will be held in conjunction with "Super Saturday in the Park" and include a Community Bike Ride!
  • Community Bike Ride: Registration at 7:30am; 5-mile family-friendly loop at 8am
  • Farmers Market: 9am-1pm
  • Yoga in the Park: 9-10am; offered in partnership with local business 305 Yoga
  • Bike Rodeo: hosted by YATF 10am-1pm
  • Boot Camp: 10-11am; offered in partnership with Fit Like Me Miami
Additional activities include a bike safety course, a K9 unit demonstration, photo booth fun, and more!
