TRAFFIC ADVISORY: FDOT will be closing the ramps (one at a time) beginning July 8. Since this time around they are closing one at a time, traffic won't be as crazy as that one Sunday (4/15) two months ago. But we're certain it will still be very bad on Saturdays & Sundays during the closure.

The SB ramp to US1 closure will take place between July 8 - July 20. The weekend of July 13-14 will be the days to avoid in afternoons if you don't like traffic.

The NB ramp to I-95 closure between July 21 - August 3 will be the more problematic one of the two. Particularly the weekend of July 27-28.

As part of the necessary ongoing rehabilitation work, contractors for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will close the westbound ramp of State Road (SR) 913/ Rickenbacker Causeway Flyover Bridge starting Monday, July 8 through Saturday, August 3.

This work will occur in two stages as follows:

Monday, July 8 at 1 a.m. through Saturday, July 20 at 6 a.m.: The ramp from the Rickenbacker Causeway southbound to US 1 will be closed from Monday, July 8 through Saturday, July 20.

During this closure, the ramp from the Rickenbacker Causeway northbound to I-95 will remain open.

Sunday, July 21 at 10 p.m. through Saturday, August 3 at 6 a.m.: The ramp from the Rickenbacker Causeway northbound to I-95 will be closed from Sunday, July 21 through Saturday, August 3.

During this closure, the ramp from the Rickenbacker Causeway southbound to US 1 will remain open.

Please expect heavy traffic and delays along the Rickenbacker Causeway and surrounding areas during these closures. Detours will be clearly marked. Please follow all posted signage and note that this schedule may change due to weather or other unexpected conditions.
